Selection Procedure:

Package/salary:

As a part of placement program we felt the need to train the BE students on the latest buzz surrounding the market – Cloud Computing. Recently TCS had conducted a seminar regarding the infinite possibilities we can achieve using Cloud Computing as a part of placement program at Sardar Patel Institute of Technology for the BE students across all branches.

We feel that students should have knowledge of the same. Prof. Deven Shah along with his staff in SPIT is currently working on Cloud Computing. They have planned to conduct free practical demonstration of Cloud computing to final year students across Mumbai, which will help them to gain more insight about this technology.

TCS Campus Recruitment Process Instructions

To enrol yourself (Only PVPPCOE Students) for the TCS recruitment process pl follow the instructions. Userid and password to access on the TCS Nextstep portal will be provided through Placement SMS system, if you are not the part of SMS system please register u r cell for that ( ask your classmates how to join SMS gr)

Once u received u r userid and password click on the " Apply to the TCS ' Tab.
enter u r userid and password and fill all u r details (keep your SSC,HSC,Diploma % and marks handy also u need to know u r sem 1 to sem 5 marks and %) before registering on the protal read the elegibility criteria carefully.

Please note :

The year of passing of the final qualification should be 2010.
Short-listing of the candidates for the TCS recruitment process would be done through the portal.
An unique reference id would be generated upon registration. The reference id would be required for any further communication with TCS.
The reference id is unique and multiple registrations are to be avoided.
The students shall provide the aggregate marks in all the academic qualifications.
For the current qualification, the percentage marks should be updated till the last semester for which results have been declared.
The information required is very critical and request all the students to be very careful while uploading the details.

TCS Announced its pool campus

Greetings !!

As discussed, we would like to initiate the campus recruitment at your institute in the month of January 2010.

Since there are a number of institutes looking at campus recruitment at the same time, we would be adopting a pooled campus mode for the same.

We are planning to pool together the institutes from New Mumbai and Eastern Mumbai at RAIT (DY Patil University) for the aptitude test. The interviews would be done at our Andheri office.

Tentatively, we are planning the following schedule:

Online aptitude test 14 & 15 -Jan-10 RAIT
Interviews 16 & 17-Jan-10 TCS Andheri

In order to draw up the detailed schedule, we would require your help in sharing the list of eligible students based on the criteria shared below:

Eligibility Criteria:
Academic Scores - Consistent 60% (or CGPA/CPI equivalent) aggregate from 10th onwards is a must. (It implies a minimum score of 60.00% in SSC, 60.00% in HSC, simple average of 60.00% in graduation/post graduation to the extent the semester results are available.).
Break in education - Break in studies maximum up to 2 yrs is permissible ONLY with VALID reasons
Backlog - No pending backlog at the time of appearing for TCS test is permitted.
Nature of course - All courses shall be full-time.
Experience level - A candidate with more than 3 yrs experience is not permitted to participate in the programme.
Age limit - Maximum permissible age of the candidate is 28 years.
