| |Time to think: Should I continue with the placement?
I took the responsibility of placement for the betterment of students, believe me I am not getting single penny for this work. WHEN I FELT THAT OUR PLACEMENT WAS POOR; I witnessed the sad faces and minds of students, Immediately I decided to sacrifice my family time for the placement of students, I decided to boost the placement activity only for the students.
Now I realized that whatever I am devoting for students is not at all respected, you are just doing charity and getting humiliated in return.
Incident on 28th Aug 2008 has changed my mind: Some students want to raise their concern over the fees issue, they brought some students union activist and barged in the Principals cabin the students union leader represented by a Girl ( not from our college) talking arrogantly with me, staff and principal, to my utter surprise our students were enjoying all this and laughing on the jokes of outsider. The image of ideal students was immediately vanished from mind. If the students are behaving like this on a petty issue, then why should I care for them?
Trust me I have not been to movie since last 9 months….!!! Why…? The only reason, I have to attain the calls of HR at evening hours, I have to send the hundreds of mails to companies. What I am doing on Saturday and Sunday…? I get up early in the morning and visit various companies. It’s not easy to bring companies in your campus.
I don’t mind if you want to raise your issue, but there are procedures you can put your grievances through CS (Class Representative, GS (General Secretary of College). At the extreme level you can contact your HOD. There is no need to call outsiders for your issues; henceforth you call them for placement also.
Right now I have decided to complete the placements in my hand, after that I will not waste my time for placement.

Sir,
I think you are really doing a good thing regarding the placements. We know you are always busy because of the different calls to attend n the different people you have to meet.
Kindly do not stop the good work you are doing about the placements.

I would like to say that its only because of your passionate efforts, have the people from my batch been placed,in the current situation with the market being down and all.I wasn't aware of the incident that happened in college,got the message from the smsgroup about ur blog,it was nice of u to express ur feelings.I am sure that there might have been meager involvement or even null by the students who respect you as a teacher and a TPO, and for that student population that actually cares about getting placed plz don't take this decision.It might be hard to sacrifice ur personal time and we really respect u for that sir,promising that the we ll try our level best and if this could help although i wasn't a part of the agitators, would like to apologize on the behalf of the students.
For The whole incident m really feeling very shame. & As a student Of P.V.P.P. m saying sorry to you,also requesting you to please continue with the placement work.

I am definitely disheartened on the whole issue concerning Sir Lokhande, and I also pity those handful of people who take him for granted, But one thing can be assured, that the majority of the students do not think otherwise and given circumstances, they will surely and openly support him, whatsoever the issue. All this because it is clearly conspicous of the endeavour that has been undertaken by the TPO for the good of students.(This year, under the guidance of Sir Lokhande, PVPPCOE has witnessed a record placement of already around 230 students, with the best of firms, and also this time INFOSYS and TCS had together entered our campus for the first ever time.)
Also I would like to add that the students of PVPP are always willing to act under his guidance and more than anything, we need a TPO of such calibre, so that PVPP students get the best of everything.
It is my sincere request to Sir Lokhande, not to pay heed to some silly comments by a handful of students, because, I believe they are in no manner going to deterr him from doing what he has been doing the best.
Hoping that Sir Lokhande will never consider discontinuing his efforts.

YOU HAVE DONE SO MUCH FOR US - CONDUCTING SEMINARS TO SHARPEN OUR APTITUDE-GD SKILLS, PLACEMENTS and so much more that all we have to say is our hearts are full of gratitude for you..

This is the first time that our college has an "active" blog.
Sir i would like to bring to your notice that each and every student in our college knows how much pain you have taken for the for the betterment of students.
And we also know how its going to change the image of our college and benifit our college in the comming years(for my juniors.)
sir we know how much efforts you had put into it and i feel just because of one incident in a bad taste, all your efforts and future of all the students should not be at stake.
Many students have apporached me saying they were never involved or supported the incidents that took place but still their future is going to be affected in such a bad way. And this is their message that I am passing it on to you.
SIR ,ON BEHALF OF ALL THE STUDENTS IN OUR COLLEGE, I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE CONTINUE WITH THE PALCEMENTS. AND WITH YOU AS OUR GUIDE WE KNOW THAT OUR FUTURE IS IN SAFE HANDS.

What has happened is really unfortunate.Being a student of PVPP i regret what happened.But Sir the actions of a group of students do not represent the views of the whole student community.The work u have undertaken for placements is really very commendable and i want to thank u for that.But please Sir don't punish all the students for the actions of a few.I request you to please not stop the work you are undertaking for the betterment of the students.
