Pre-Placement and Skill Gap Analysis Assessment

| |

Training and Placement Cell is keen to organize a Pre-placement and Skill gap analysis assessment to the students of our college. The idea of skills gap analysis - measuring the difference between an individual's actual capabilities and the required capabilities of their desired job role - is not a new one, yet is still an activity that many institutions find difficult to undertake.

This would help the student understand what is expected from them, by the industry. · The assessment report will convey the students about their weakness and strengths and areas that need to be improved upon. · From the assessment report of all the students, we advice the faculty of college about the subjects and areas which the students are facing more difficulties.

What is the test about?
The assessment is carried out in the form of Multiple Choice Questions and
the duration will be for three hours. The test consists of three parts.
· Employability- Quotient Assessment (1hr)
· Basic Engineering Knowledge (1hr)
· Professional- Quotient Assessment (1hr)

Employability- Quotient Assessment:
i.Communication Skills
ii. Learning

Ability Basic Engineering Knowledge:
1. Mathematics
2. Physics
3. Chemistry
4. Computers
5. Engineering Mechanics
6. Strength of Materials

Professional- Quotient Assessment:
This assessment primarily focuses on identifying the Core-Engineering Skills. The Engineering Skill requirements vary from organizations to organizations. Never mind, Professional Quotient customizable. The candidate is profiled on the sub-topics and sub-skills. Detailed visual
report comes along with test result to make it all easier.

IT/ Computer Science Quotient
Electrical Quotient
Electronics Quotient

In short, the Professional- Quotient Assessment is different for different branches. Syllabus of the Skill Gap Analysis Assessment is given below
