Ethical Hacking Workshop at MGM

I strongly advice all the COMP & IT Students (SE,TE ,BE  & ME) to register for this workshop which will be value add on to your profile.

Students from other college are allowed to apply for this event . Contact through blog comment or mail me.

Report of activities as on 5th August,2010:

• Registration desk setup for two days(4th,5th) besides the college entrance after 2.30pm.
• Students went to most classes to inform about the workshop. (needs to be done again at the department coordinator level)
• Online entries started at http://www.kyrion.in
• Kyrion has started punching sms's to its student database in and around mumbai.
• Event put up on Facebook (98 RVSP's as on 5th August,2010) and other networking sites.
• Mouth to mouth publicity to students in other colleges.
• First set of posters sent by Kyrion have been put in MGM Engineering and Medical college.
• We have received 42 entries so far for the event and 33 queries have come online through kyrion's website.

Current Plan of action:

• Registration desk to be setup for the entire day at 2nd floor, IT lab.
• Computers,IT department coordinators to be asked to announce the event in each class and elicit maximum response.
• 2nd lot of posters from kyrion have reached, they would be put up in college and sent to other neighboring colleges.
• Students can pay Rs.100/- initially and book their seats. (that way we can have an immediate idea of how many students we have registered.
