IBM: WATSON MOBILE DEVELOPER IDEA CHALLENGE

To keep your great minds tickled, we have something very interesting and exciting for your students and faculty. 

PRESENTING THE WATSON MOBILE DEVELOPER IDEA CHALLENGE 

No need to write any code, no application development, just an idea! As you may have heard through recent announcements, Watson is ushering in a new era of cognitive computing.

Recently, Ginni Rometty announced at Mobile World Congress that IBM’s Mobile and Watson businesses were coming together to offer a unique way to access Watson.

In this developer challenge, applicants submit a use case for how they could use Watson through a mobile device - to extend the capabilities of existing software, or through a new offering 

Top applicants get a week prototype a Watson app, mentorship from Watson and Mobile SMEs, and access to prebuilt mobile frameworks to test and prove the business value of their concept. The top 5 finalists present live to IBM Executives, and 3 winners get design support from IBM Interactive and enter the IBM Watson Ecosystem
